The Manitowoc-Two Rivers YMCA is proud to recognize Redline Plastics as the Cornerstone Sponsor of the YMCA’s new 4K Y Enrichment program at Riverview Early Learning Center. Redline Plastics is contributing $50,000 to help furnish, equip and prepare classrooms for the program’s launch this fall.

Beginning September 8, the Manitowoc Public School District and the YMCA will offer families a new, no-cost full-day 4K option at Riverview Early Learning Center. Children will participate in MPSD 4K for half of the day and YMCA 4K Y Enrichment for the other half, providing a seamless day of learning and care from 8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

The partnership significantly expands the number of families who can access a full-day 4K experience without the cost of child care during the other half of the school day. It also helps address a common challenge for working families whose schedules do not align with a traditional half-day 4K program.

Redline’s Cornerstone Sponsorship will support classroom setup, age-appropriate furniture and learning spaces, educational materials, classroom supplies, and safety and accessibility enhancements.

The new partnership has the potential to expand YMCA four-year-old programming from 18 children to as many as 200. By increasing access to a reliable, enriching full-day 4K option, the program will reduce barriers to employment for families while preparing more children to enter school ready to learn and succeed.

Through its Cornerstone Sponsorship, Redline Plastics is helping lead the way for working families, early learning, and the future of Manitowoc County.

In addition to the new 4K partnership, the YMCA is relocating its existing Early Learning program to Riverview Early Learning Center during the first week of August. YMCA Early Learning provides tuition-based child care for children ages 0 through 3.
