America on the Move Week   September 20 - 27, 2009
(sponsored by Aurora Health Care)
The Y will be FREE to all adults and families (youth must be accompanied by an adult) to help take small steps to a healthier YOU!

AOM is a nationwide, non-profit initiative that aims to improve health and quality of life by promoting active living and healthful eating. AOM engages Americans of all ages in fun, simple programs that encourage physical activity and healthy eating habits.


Help us accumulate 10 million steps, as we contribute toward the national goal of 10 billion steps! Free pedometers (courtesy of Aurora) to help track your progress

No School Fun Days!  

When your kids don't have school and you still have to work, sign them up for a "No School Fun Day" at the YMCA. The day starts at 6 am and runs until 6 pm. Various activities including: Gym games, swimming, art projects, field trips, gymnastic center, and much more. Sign your child up today by calling the business office. Spaces are limited, so please register prior to 48 hours in advance.
