MantaRay SwimTeam
Welcome to the home of the Manitowoc-Two
Rivers YMCA MantaRay swim team. We
are a competitive swim team that runs from the middle of October to
the end of March.  The YMCA swim team is designed for everyone in the community. We
do not have a limit
on the number of swimmers and everyone gets to swim at competitive
swim meets.
We only have 3 requirements
-Be ages 5-18
-Be a YMCA Member
-Be able to swim one length of the pool
Our swim team coaches will help you with the rest. Please keep in
mind that we are a competitive swim team and should not be used as
a substitute for swim lessons.
There are no requirements for the number of practices or swim meets
you need to attend. However, our coaching staff expects that you
work on improving your own abilities.
During the winter, approximately 12 swim meets are available.
You select the meets you wish to attend. These meets are one
way you can judge your progress/performance.
Swimmers compete against others in their age group. Depending on
the meet, awards are given out to the top 6 to 12 finishers.
